To join the server, open console and type /connect 208.167.243.170
This should connect you to server if done correctly(pretty simple tho so should be no prob).

there is no fix since you cant do anything about it on your end, just wait for it to come back, other than that do as tia suggested and of course make sure u add the 28960 ( thanks donefore )

Master server has been down most of the afternoon. I wonder if it is the end?

No response from master server all week!
So what is a console and how do I open it? Where do I type '/connect 208.167.243.170' ??

Once certain games get so old and outdated the console/master server that loads said servers are often shut down or abandoned. The servers themselves are still up, but you have to manually connect to them via the IP address being typed in. I fear UO might just be old enough where they've stopped patching the master server and maintaining it, but I've no idea really.

At the menu, hit the ~ key to open a command line 3. Type connect 208.167.243.170:28960 and hit <Enter> You should then be able to connect to the Historians BAS server |

I connected to {[SACK]}s 2 servers this morning restarted them both and NOW GUID # are showing, maybe the Master server is making a come back!.
If you still have no guids at your server try a restart at least it will keep the banned players OFF
