Disappointed in BA Clan

Well, as most of you know our server was down for a while this morning so some of our players of course went
out to try other servers to play on, including /-/ members and even /-/ admins. Nothing wrong with this at all, not
in the least, all of the servers are out there for all to enjoy in my way of thinking.. I myself have enjoyed many
hours of playing on other servers. Mostly on RA or BA and had always been welcomed in the past as they have
always been welcome to play on ours.

I do not know what has happened or why but it has been brought to my attention by players, /-/ members and
even a /-/Admin that this morning while they were indeed welcome to play on RA's server with no problem
while our server was down that for those that went to BA's server the response was a little different. They were
"allowed" to play it seems but were subjected to complaints and insults while on...While bragging about having
a "Historian Sunday" since they were full, they also said they were now full of "historians hackers". I am very
disappointed in this response myself to our members on their server as I have always welcomed them when
they come over to play on our server. I have even taken care of a few of the BA members that had run afoul
of a few of our admins in the past and worked to get the differences resolved and them back on our server.

I am not advocating any kind of retaliation against BA members that come to play on our server in the future, and will
not condone any action taken for any reason beyond a rules violation but I felt that in my new role on /-/ server it was
my duty to report this not only to our members and regular players but all players that If our server is down in the future
at any time I would recommend steering well clear of BA. I myself will no longer play there as a response to their
behavior toward our players and server..

Before coming to Historians, I played the BA server everyday for over a year. I enjoyed their rotations and liked a lot of the regulars there. What I didn't like was the constant barrage of insults and accusations from their own members and admins alike.

They have their own set of rules that appear to vary from admin to admin and from victim to victim. Much like Historians, I don't say much unless provoked and then I give back. In BA, they have a log of every comment and it builds up until they decide the box is full. No kicks or warnings according to their 'rules', instead I received an immediate perm ban without even getting a pm or email. After I asked their response was "We've pretty much had enough of you".

Now the fun part. I was told by more than one admin that all I had to do was go to the forum and apologize (grovel was more like it). Eventually I did so I could play and they denied me.

Oh well...

BA's server is by far the shittiest I've ever played in. I feel like I catch an STD anytime I play there longer than 5 minutes. The competition is piss-poor and their mods are even worse.

Lol, I must admit, I did like the mods. Different tactics and strategy are required for their mods. After you get used to them, it is a lot of fun. The one thing I liked was they took all sniper rifles off the server. Forced people to play the game instead of hiding.

That said, their egos got to be more important than the players. Same thing happened to MOB server and it no longer exists. BA will end the same eventually. Only a matter of time.

Yes it was. Key word being was. A small handful of members didn't want UO in their lineup anymore and like a cancer, it was gone. The majority wanted to keep it but not many stepped up to the plate to fight it.

Well I just popped on this morning to find out what was going on with the treatment of our players and was
kicked off their server for my doing so...Go figure...

Its funny that you mention this Lip. I have only ever played on the Historians server due to the fact that it is the only Base Assault server I can find. I have never seen RA or BA servers before. But I guess from what I am hearing it is a Base ASSault server.

I am working with a couple of BA's Admins to get this resolved...So far going smooth...

Perhaps it was just one or two bad apples on their server causing the unecessary drama?

Hopefully it was just the actions and opinions of a select one or two, and not the general attitude of the entire group.

It's important to remember, it is THEIR server. If they choose to treat their players that way, simply avoid them. I don't condone their actions, it's rather sad actually, but I also do not encourage anyone to cause any problems on their server. Simply avoid it.

After having a Scrim against them several months ago, and winning both rounds, they call all of us HACKS and left the server, I went back over to BA to ask what's up? and I got banned.

Good way to avoid there server!

All wise words but moon said it best. Their house their rules. Sorry boys. Only been there a few times. Not a fan of mods. Butt now i do t think I will go.
