Scrim/Pug

Hi everyone, i have been thinking of a way to re-do this, and I will be setting up in-clan scrim/pug games.

Basically we gather gather somewhat active players and set up teams to be as even as possible. We will be doing all weapons / rifles + CTF and Search and destroy. No base assault. The skill level will easily be above average, so keep that in mind. If you are not up to big challenges you probably will not have fun.


We will be based on a mobile app system. Example: Whatsapp, discord, Groupme ( i have no decided the final pick yet ) this will greatly improve our communication and make it easy to gather up and play.


The goal will be to play with better players and enjoy some competitive matches. There will be no bad manners during the game. Fun shit talk is fine, but we can tell when its not fun shit talk, and it will be strictly enforced, this kind of stuff ruins the game for everyone.


We do not need to many players for this, even 4v4 matches will be very fun; however, the more the better, as such I have decided I will open this to non H members as well.

I am doing this because the tournament thing has already bogged down, and I do not have time to organize something like that across multiple servers and players, this will be much more smooth and easier to organize. Just PM me if you want in, if your name isn't on the list, post here if you want also.

One clarification is that this will be an on-going thing. This is not a tournament, there sill be no score keeping. The teams will continually be reformed.

Our first pug (Pick Up Group) will be this Friday. It will be the only scheduled one. After that we will proceed to our method which is groups will be formed from a chosen App. (Probably discord at this point.) We will start assembling around 4-7 US time. 4 Pacific, 7 Eastern.

Please download discord to your computer, it is also a talk software like teamspeak. You do not have to talk, but it is highly encouraged, you will have to be connected to hear team mate's calls at the minimum.

There is also an app for your phone for discord. This will allow us to communicate with each other even if you are not at your computer, without having to give out your phone number.

The ideal pool would be hitting 16 players at least. This would allow us to reliable get 4v4 games going frequently.

Me but bear in mind that

1. I'm 5 hours in front of EST (7pm EST is midnight for me)

2. I work away from home Mon-Fri so can't play.

If these are too much then leave me out

I'm going to have a problem getting on that early most days. 3 kids that go to bed at 8:00 EST. I'll be able to play 8:30 on tournament nights. Obviously I can't adjust this so I'm with Fenrir, if you must leave me out.

From what I understand the games play will not always be the same days and the same hours. I do not believe that because you can not play a day that you can not be part of the Pug team. We trying to have a team of 16 people, precisely from the perspective where we can have at least 8 players who can play at the same time, if the time or day is not suitable for everyone.


Someone can tell me if I am wrong?

No worries dude. Let me clarify. There will be no tournament nights. The players here are all frequent players. When I see at least 4 on including myself already playing. I will see if they want to play ( pug ) pick up group. If so. I will ask the group through the app if any one wants to play. And we need one more. Or two more for 3v3 or 4v4. Hope that clarifies. This could be any time. And it maybe only one or two maps

This Friday you do not have to come. And we will surely play more than one map take breaks. Someone may leave. And someone else may show up. You can play when u get on. That is the advantage of pugging. You can jump in when you get there. There are not set teams.

Friday is the only scheduled day I just want everyone to take in the atmosphere see if they are going to like it. I don't expect everyone to. It's going to be intense games

Hi lazy. To clarify there is I guess you can say one team. The pug team. Which are the ppl on the top list. However. That is where the term team ends. If 8 people want to play. We do 4v4. If 10. Them 5v5

The two groups will mostly keep changing around. You will fight against all. It will emphasize balance. There will be no set teams. Example one day you will fight me. Other day you going to be on my team. but above all we guna keep it even.

This may not seem like too many people, However; you will see that smaller maps were designed for 4v4 5v5 CTF SD. Even 6 players will start to seem crowded. So we already have a good base.
