I can't play UO with the screen smaller than full screen. I don't multitask well in-game and find that if I play windowed, I am way too easily distracted. Hell, I hate it when the XF message pops on screen.
Does anyone prefer playing windowed vs. full?
Just curious.

Full screen, only way to play using Linux. Some key combinations don't work either, for example you can't sprint and jump at the same time - that combination causes the mouse pointer to come up and you're not really in the game anymore.

I play UO in full-screen, but theres 2 black bars that run up the left and right side as well. They cut off about 1-1/2inches on each side. So basically, even tho i have a 17 inch monitor, I'm playing UO on a 15 inch screen.
Others have this same problem, and there's a way to fix it, but I dont care enough to look into it.

I play on a 27" Cinema Display. Full screen. No distractions. Kill kill kill!
I have a second monitor which streams email, server posts and discussions at work. We use Basecamp, fyi.
I have a smart phone which streams texts and email from my second business venture.

Just a month ago, I would say that that would be for me lol, but I have a new gf, so the aggression has kinda left me at the moment. I'm a little competitive.... to say the least. Me and a shooter from the NY Times are attempting to corner the Minnesota editorial magazine market. We are in trial mode for the next three months, before we can re-negotiate. We are currently knocking it out of the park, so, fingers crossed. |
