Getting error when trying to join server while on a map called Podole.
"Unpure client detected. Invalid PK3 files referenced. C:\Program Files (x86)\CallofDuty\uo\uomappack00.pk3"
Looks like server took a big hit in numbers once the map switched, probably others are getting the same error.

I had the same problem. Looked in that ou folder and the offending file was not there. I had to do a search for .pk3 files in my C/users/yourusername/appdata folder to find and remove it.

Just to add a lil tangent to Catfish and Donefore's appdata talk - but maybe it'll help someone: Mine is like that too - it's some versions of Windows (8 and then upgrade to 8.1 for me), I think it started at Win 7, and maybe gone in 'new installs' of new Windows. In case you can't find something in your Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty folder: if you have not given your 'Windows user' permission to alter the ..\Program Files (x86) or specific 'Call of Duty' folders, then the game downloads things and saves demos and screenshots (and SP stuff) into that appdata folder. And *as I discovered, in the less easy sorta way, once you set your permissions to alter the Call of Duty directory in the program files folder, files will then be downloaded by the game into that folder. But.. - the files in the appdata folder are given priority by the game (if there are two copies of identical file names, in the two locations), which causes these funny 'conflict errors', etc., and, for me, demos began to be saved by the game into the program files COD\demos folder, BUT screenshots continue to be saved in the appdata\cod\screenshots folder, meh. Just save a shortcut if this helps you out. It sure did for me... Now, who's less confused?

This can also occur if you have downloaded the game via Steam and/or loaded the game from Program files NOTE: Windows 8 likes to deposit the game data into the C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ directory
Or, try to run your game in Compatibility mode:
1. Right click your CODUO Multiplayer icon 2. Select "Properties" 3. Click the "Compatibility" tab 4. Checkmark "Run this program in compatibility mode" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" 5. Click Apply 6. Load the game and test
