Server Lag Problem

Hey guys,

There's a lag problem on your server since last night.
I connected to other servers and I had absolutely no issues..... and I checked my internet speed and everything is normal on my end.
I am not the only one who has high ping on the server.
Maybe the server needs to be rebooted?

seemed like it was kinda bad yesterday too, all day the server was sluggish. not sure if its on my end or everyone else is experiencing the same thing

My ping has been fine recently, thankfully. during the weekends it just may seem more laggy because it is a weekend and alot of people are off work and alot of euros are playing on the server. I don't remember the last time the server was rebooted but if it was not recently then we could go for a reboot i'd say.

This is a strange thing that's happening and I hope someone has an answer:
If I connect directly to your server, my ping time is high and I have lag issues..... but if I disconnect from your server and connect to another server, then reconnect to your server, my ping time is normal and I have no lag.... I've tested this many times over the past couple of days by connecting to |HBC|FUNSERVER before connecting to your server and I would have no lag whatsoever and my ping is normal lower than 90 if I do so.... but connecting directly to your server gives me high ping time...... any ideas?

Idk what exactly it could be i had lag issues about a week ago. I posted about it in another thread. www.sefruan.net/index.cgi?board=serverissues&action=display&thread=97

I had ping issues up until one day where i could not even find the server in the UO server browser. When i tried joining through xfire i would get "Awaiting connection..." then later that day the server started showing up again and when i joined my ping was back to normal. I honestly think the server picks 1 person at random each week and makes their ping skyrocket lol

Is anyone willing to put rhine valley back into rotation? I've been asked a few times by some players and I told them I would ask. It only seemed fitting to come to the LAG section of the forum to do so though lol

In order to bring rhine back, the fog will have to be removed off the map and that means the server would need a restart. We'll have to wait and see what LL has to say.
