man that is awesome pete. a few questions tho: 1. What were you doing with your right hand? 2. How much ammo do you have? 3. How much does the ammo cost? 4. Is that rate of fire, as shown in the vid, as fast as it gets? lol ok i'm done. OH BTW heres your video on youtube, i uploaded it because it takes forever to download from mediafire. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QezP5o7kMCQ&feature=youtu.beIf you want me to take it down just let me know and i will asap.

I added the Youtube link to the first post. No problem! Let's let it run and see what happens.
Right hand is actuating the "Butterfly", that activates the trigger mechanism. The gun is semi auto, built from a parts kit. A legal transfeable 1919 like it would cost you about $18-$20,000 right now.
I can run it about 350 Rounds/min that way. The Full auto versions ran about 450 Rounds /min.
Ammo cost... I try not to think about it... The stuff i was shooing i paid about $.18 a round for a few years back when it was still cheap. Same stuff today is about $.50 a round.

so until the zombie breakout you arent going to fire that much unless you win the lottery lol they still make that .30 cal ammo? is it still used for modern weapons? This one is in .308 (7.62x51) The original design was in 30-06. These were guns that were sold to Israel and converted to .308 the NATO standard for light machine guns back in late 1960's. They still show some Israeli markings on them. I still like to get out and shoot it once in a while. I don't care about the ammo cost right now. Someday when i run out of ammo for it, I will put it on display in the living room....
