Temp Ban

Was temp banned the other day for talking trash on the server. Was not breaking any rules that I know of (other than being a dick?), so I was just curious if I could be pardoned. To whoever I pissed off, your first mistake was taking anything I had to say seriously, but I do apologize.

Yes I remember that happening, you got into a pissing match with /-/Moon and /-/Tiamat, bad move I am afraid as they are both Historians members and admins to boot. I did warn you what would happen if you kept it up, and I did inform you they were both admins. I do not know how many times players have been warned about insulting the Historians members on the Historians own server, it is just amazing how they are warned but keep on going until they get kicked and temp banned and then wonder why.

Look at this as a lesson learned. Temp bans are usually just 48 hours for the first time so you will just have to wait it out, should be up soon as it was Saturday that you was banned I believe. I am glad you did come on and apologize, that will help, Not sure if I would have put in the part about "your first mistake was", as I would have done the same thing the admin did that kicked you. I do know who the admin was that banned you, but that is for them to post. Just always remember that you do not insult someone in their own house and when you are warned by a admin you need to pay attention, they do not do so lightly. So wait until your time is up and come back on and play. See you on the field of battle.

Thanks for the response. I did know that both players were admins but was not aware they would take trash talking personally which is unfortunate. I will keep my mouth shut and let my bullets do the talking. I hope I can get back on the server today?

No problem Toxic and if your temp ban does not end after the 48 hours are up post it here and let us know,
I am sure it was only for 48 hrs. If that is this is your first time being banned and you did not get too
offensive to the admin in question. You should know soon,and by the way.

As Lipton said, trash talking is fine, we don't boot for trash talking. It's the degree of disrespect that gets a player the boot. If it gets to a point where an admin needs to step in and says enough (but the player persists), is usually when the hammer drops. We don't hold grudges, so feel free to trash talk, just make sure to avoid over-stepping your bounds next time. We'll see you online soon....

Understood, I will attempt to tone down the trash talking anyway. Like I said, the best way to deal with me is to not take anything I say seriously. But I do apologize to those who took me literally.

I'm not sure when the 48 hours will be up as I was pretty blazed when the ban occurred. If it hasn't passed already is there anyway the ban can be lifted today? It's my last day off before I go back to the grind for another week. (I'm an oral surgeon believe it or not).

Well, in a way I suppose, he had to serve out his full 48 hrs. I was on last evening for quite a bit
but never seen him come on so maybe it did extend into today..

Just a update, Toxic was on tonight, and stuck to his word..Played well..
No problems..Let his gun do his talking..and very well at that..Lol
