Been getting this lately , hardware issue, comp shutsdown during high end games, after a recent rebuild/upgrade to my comp.

Any ideas on what might cause this, cant find much on it. OR is it just too much for the mobo to handle and think I should upgrade mobo?

Yeah, usually this is a result of overclocking the CPU, but it can also be a result of a required BIOS or video driver update (if the video card is overclocked). If you are overclocking the CPU, disable this and you should have your problem resolved.
