My brother floki bought a new laptop today and every time he tries to start United Offensive it tells him something like "Your video card seams to be missing one or two features required to run this game." than something about updating his graphics card and stuff cause its out of date. Well it aint out of date he is playing games that demand a heck of a lot more than UO with out any problem. By the way its a windows 10 with Intel i5. I just got a new laptop with windows 10 AMD and I didn't have this problem. If you can help that would be great!

"Your video card appears to be missing one or more features required to run Call of Duty.
You should install the latest drivers for your video card, being sure to uninstall the old drivers first. If you already have the latest drivers, you should completely uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them. This fixes most problems. If the game still doesn't work, it may be that your video card does not have the minimum features required. Please check the readme for more information, including a list of supported video cards."

I don't know for Windows 10 but do you have the possibility to right clic on the game icon and try an older windows compatibility mode in properties? And/or try another video setting from here ? You can try to run it as administrator too.

Ive tried changing the compatibilty to XP service pack 3 and run as administrator but got the same issue. I've tried updating DirectX and installing directX 9 again but nothing.

Your brother is using an Nvidia card? If that is a yes you can give it a shot!
1. Go to the "Start" button in Windows, then click on "Control Panel". 2. Double-click the "NVIDIA Control Panel" 3. Make sure that Advanced is selected under the View menu. 4. Select "Manage 3D Settings", set the "Extension limit" setting to "Off", then hit "Apply" and close all the windows. 5. Attempt to run Call of Duty again.
