For those who haven't heard, the Historians server is now under new management. Friction is too busy with school to continue to run the server, so the server is now being run by Sgt. Lipton & I. We have been running it for the past few weeks, and so far the only change we have made has been a tweak to the map rotation. We plan on keeping this server alive as long as possible. This is an old game as far as video games go we are well aware, but we still have a hardcore player base. Some of you guys like Sgt. Lipton & myself, have been here for many years. This server has been here from the beginning of this game, and we will remain here god willing as long as you players support it and continue to populate the server. We also need donations to stay connected, so please find the donation thread on the forum and give to the cause. If you are a die hard CODUO bas player please donate what you can, be it $1.00 or $100, all donations are appreciated. There are no plans as of yet to change any server settings or any rules at this time, but the ongoing rules will be upheld to the highest standards, so please obey them. The rules here are pretty simple, as they always have been.
1. Don't block teammates from exiting spawn or block their tanks
2. Don't team kill your fellow players or your own team tanks
3. Don't accuse others of cheating or insult others in excess(cursing is allowed in moderation)
4. Don't smoke your own teammates or spawn points
5. Don't use wallhacks, aimbots, or reduce your recoil in any way
6. Don't use racist terms or insults other races
7. Don't insult other players family members
8. Don't use glitches(Tank steal, Base plant or quick reload)This includes going off or under any map
9. Don't use config file alterations designed to give you a hit marker advantage or any other advantage
10.Don't team stack(Try to get on the winning or better advantaged team)
These are the 10 Historians commandments, pretty simple guidelines to follow to make this a fun & fair place to play for all.
If you would like to join the Historians clan, just make a request, but be aware that your history will be vetted and your membership will require a majority vote of all the active admins for you to qualify. If you are a former clan member who dropped their tags for whatever reason other than being kicked out of the clan, just PM me to discuss reinstatement.
