It's server files work. Lot's of things must be move around. Is not just a cfg or mod for it.

Yooooooo NOX. To answer your question from gaming today, |<or (nox) were your tags man ^^. No mods or cfg needed. Or even a specific one for it. I never saw one for that made. Server files are all there nox. Remembered both BELL'S AWE are old. Figure server using both as(SVR) to run the game. What some of us call (gate and key structures). FYI. Shhhh Benched mine is only 1 (SVR) made it myself  . So, H gate and key or server client files has to be restructure from old for a 64 slot+ to maintain integrity  . Guessing that was the old way in running the game. One has to sit and study what files make it run for upgrading, fixing, adding to the AWE too........... YOU COULD TRY BRO!!!! Who knows you might get it right. You have to restructure and edit files to make it work. If you don't know "server admin work" steps don't mess with it(loco bench work)trial errors. If not successful you could crash something and server may not restart.... then billy will have a fit on you ^^. Then You will need to revert process on errors then for bool rework.........................I got skills ;D.................. TECH STUFF----------------->(boring stuff)FYI in my work for FTP. Just to show you... In windows10 (Like 6 or 7 applications)open at the same time working for mods for bench C+ work and edit work and proof testing of ftp(online)(offline) with server site running the game. Truly bench work for lnxded of windows pc for quake3 engine. You have to work around the win10 .so and bat files of G....site to run the game... 2.12 AWE was(10k lines plus) huge and brain work if not known how to navigate around it. Specially if is the old original Bells files here running the game. Which is were I self taught myself from 2004...........phewww boring stuff "over" is for nox wth^^........................................ SERVER ADMIN work is different than MAP work too. I gutted Ponyri_West for billy and fixed it(Got tired but SUCCESS). Ask billy he saw it working for more info ^^. So is not a simple mod or cfg to add of what is need it for compass or other stuff. Server/FTP access would have to be discussed between Billy and Loveless. That is not my call. I work IT for a hospital system with over 10000 employees. My background is in Hardware and Windows/Server administration, not coding. I currently support the EMR for our hospital on the Laboratory side and my life is BUSY. Yes i play UO during the day but that is normally during a Webex or Microsoft Teams meeting that they're talking about stuff i have no input on. Perks of the job  . I work 50 - 60 hours a week, no time to learn UO programming sorry, and not going to try right now. Maybe with right information or access you can figure it out. If not we will still be here.  |

Wow 50 - 60 hours you busy alright bud. Yea uo programming is time consuming. I got around to learning it by bringing mods out through the years for the love of the game and the guys that help me bring them out in me. It was fun and challenging to make the game run with the upgrades. Surprising I can still program with ease 2021 this old game . Hardware system, networking, software installation and operating systems is partial background of mine in business. Never went to school for this. Just had to learn it to stay in business. My background is in business administration and investing. Now a days is pick up dad drop off dad . I have bit more time than the old days. Well now I know your background a bit more here and life. Yea maybe billy might want to upgrade the site info in the server. Lets leave it up to him with LL at their discretion. Big ups nox |
