COD UO Server Access

Need some guidance please.  Played the hell out of COD UO Multiplayer when it came out.  As the new COD versions came out it was harder & harder to find the WWII servers, finally thought they were gone as an option.  Then I came across Historians on YouTube and saw there are servers again.
So long story short, how do I access the servers......via Steam?  I have COD UO on disc only, do I have to re-purchase via Steam?
Any help appreciated, watching the YouTube Base Assault vidz driving me crazy, want in again.

You have to have original COD installed, then install UO, then install the 1.51 patch.

Server should be listed when you launch multiplayer.

Easy Advice: just purchase on Steam, ive run it off steam for years.
