Phew, what a few days. It may be that the world has lost its most famous person, but also we have lost our mom 
. It has to be said when the British do ceremony based on our history, we do it properly. She is currently lying in state in Westminster Hall, part of Westminster Palace (the Houses of Parliament), until Monday when the funeral takes place. If you get up early and watch TV you will see one hell of a spectacle. Incidentally, Westminster Hall is 900 years old. Henry VIII had his coronation feast there and its where the trial of Charles I took place.
