would ya consider enabling flame throwers? running into A1 on Foy to shish-ka-bob a defuser is rather cathartic. it's a stock option so it's not a goofy mod like mag rims on a jeep or the stuka that CZ ran 15 years ago.
if "destructible" 88's are possible, enabling them on a spawn cycle similar to tanks could level the playing field in situations like the south hill shooting gallery on kursk, supporting the plant of R3 on ponyri and making the german team think twice about running out the front door of the G2 spawn house on Foy. 88's could also eliminate the depowering of tanks.
is it just me that thinks tanks being susceptible to gunfire negates their effectiveness in dropping bases and supporting plants/defusals? it seems like more than half the game protracts into team death match because of a team's inability to drop bases quick enough using only rockets. when a base is dropped, without armour support the plant's aren't usually successful until someone has achieved arty.
south hill spawn killing happens because players fail to stop the enemy advance. get good, learn to recognize what's happening in-game. I spec camping players who allow opposing players to jeep right past them, then get killed by a different opposing player, spawn, then get spawn killed by the same players they allowed to jeep by and then whine about spawn killing. how come the camper didn't attempt to stop the jeep? I guess they like playing "try not to die".
campers and spawn killers make the game more of a challenge. when im getting raped at G1 on kursk by the guy in the russian heavy i make it my mission to go out the back and find a way to satch and shrek his ass and get the V35 from my team mates.

just grateful that there's still a bunch of guys and girls playing UO.
