Dreams with weird topics

I seem to always have dreams about my teeth falling out, being late to school for a test I didn't study for and being in the backseat of a car with no driver!

I always have the dreams where I'm back in college and there is A) a test/final today that I totally forgot about or B) I'm not sure I have all the credits necessary to graduate. I have that dream about once every two weeks.

When i was younger goin to middle/high school i used to always wake up for school but fall back asleep for 10 minutes or so and immediately i would dream that i was getting ready for school without realizing that it was actually a dream. This is a repeat dream that happened all the time back in those days lol.

I've also had a few dreams about teeth falling out or worse, bones/arms/legs turning so brittle that they just break in half.

Each tribe or nation has it's theory on dreams so I believe. In mexico teeth falling it means death. And also dreaming of a bride means death.
I really don't like those dreams.

I've only had ONE dream come about to me twice in my life. It scared the hell out of me and I hate to think about it. First time was when I was like 12, the second like 18, and I still remember them both clear as day.

I think the first one was so freaky that it stayed in my subconscious until my brain finally played it again a few years later, to make sure I didn't forget how messed up it was.

EDIT: Overall though, I don't have dreams too often, that, or I don't remember them as soon as I wake up.

The common theme in all of what you mentioned Moon, was things happening to you that you have no control over, you were just along for the ride and what happened, happened, like it or not. Ive had same type and they suck, helpless feeling.

Here's one for you. Years ago I had a dram where I was in a room filled with Adirondack chairs and old furniture. Suddenly some people turn around in front of me (one of whom was my old friend Herman the German) and Hermann points at me and starts screaming. I yell back "what's going on what's happening?" and then I find myself on my back and I am on fire. The fire spreads painfully across my back and I woke up, screaming, in the same position I was in in the dream.

The spookiest dreams, are when you dream that you have awoken, and you are actually still in the dream. Sometimes, you fight to wake up.

Studies have found that using Marijuana will stifle dreaming. There is no data on the long term consequences of this. Dreaming, generally follows a pattern: 1. Dreaming of the problem 2. Dreaming how to solve the problem 3. dreaming the problem is solved.
