Sometimes when i would go to play on the bas server it will not show up in the ingame browser but it shows up on xfire just fine. When i try to go join the server through xfire i am unable to. I have had this problem in the past and it had resolved itself somehow. It's annoying because now it's happening again, i refresh the ingame browser and every other server shows up just fine but the bas server. Anyone know of a reason why this would happen?
NOTE: re-installing the game does not help to fix this problem.

still no luck being able to join... wtf! I tried joining the planes server and i got this message "CD key in use. please try connecting later" wtf is this? i never handed out my cd key to anyone but this comes up? lol

maybe that 101474 one is in use still, sometimes they do that, try re entering your own again

ok, i tried connecting to the server through xfire and went afk for a lil bit, came back and the server finally loaded up. I then disconnected and refreshed the in-game browser and it came up just fine, i closed UO and tried re-opening it and all it does is just keeps giving me a message that "CoDUOMP has stopped working", tried it again and again and the same message kept showing up... I re-installed the game and the same thing jus continues... WTF!??

figures it managed to fix itself somehow... and now my ping is back to how it is supposed to be weird.

Sometimes, you just need to delete the uoconfig_mp.cfg file and then restart the game. It will create a new one automatically, but you will have to recreate your ID and any additional settings you had previously

It will create a new one automatically, but you will have to recreate your ID and any additional settings you had previously When i uninstalled the game surprisingly it did not delete the config file or any other .pk3's in the uo folder that wasn't it. I think it might have had to do with the server, seems like every week someone else is on the "shit-list" for bad ping etc.. When this problem occurred today i joined a few other servers, my ping was just fine in them even in the BA bas server my ping was 20's-30's so it seem like it was more a server-side problem than something with my pc. Maybe it was some kind of IP conflict or something idk but i'm happy it's back to how it should be. |
