Many players don't seem to understand the obvious here. It is THEIR HOUSE. IF you want to play here, you play by THEIR RULES. If the admin says you have to play while standing on your head, You had better play that way, or expect to be booted or banned for not following their rules. There is no "right" to play on a server just because you have the game. Playing here is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT, as many would think. Yea i've had a few issues here but all in all it is the best server because of the rules and the fact that they are enforced.
Keep up the good work guys, Pete.
When I seen this again I just had to smile....Good Ole Pete,, always straight to the point.... No bullshit, no crap, just says it the way he sees it... Just had to post it again...Seemed the right time to do so..

You neglected to post his follow-up: Think of it this way. I have rules in my houshold. You don't come into my house and use foul language in front of my children. You use foul language a couple of times and i nicely ask you to stop, and you do for a while, then you do it again. I again ask you to refrain from using foul language. This time you cop an attitude, laugh it off, and continue to use the foul language. The third time you use the foul language there is no warning. I grab you and physically escort you out the front door and introduce your elbows, knees, and face to the gravel and rock that are on my driveway. My house, my rules. You don't like it, there is the door....use it. Same goes with a server. It's not a business where you HAVE TO let everyone in to your business if you are going to be open to the public. If the owner of the server doesn't like you, and wants to kick you, they can, and there is nothing you can do about it. It's much easier to follow the rules, than it is to try to skirt around them in the gray areas as some here do. Some rules are meant to be followed with the "Spirit of the game" rather than the "Letter of the law." Pete Read more: historiansforum.proboards.com/thread/2137/aryka-banned-zoe?page=1#ixzz4Mne9WMoJ

If you are bent on pissing off an admin because that player thinks it's "fine to do" or it's just something "fun to try", good luck. We are utilizing a zero tolerance for a-holes anymore. We tolerate general back and forth ranting, trash talking and the like. But this nonsense of "calling out an admin" or impersonating an admin will not be tolerated PERIOD. If you don't like it, that's your right, just like it's our right to smite, kick and ban. We don't answer to non-members, but we will be forthright with our decisions and explain them. Pure and simple, if you feel you're testing the limits of the rules, YOU'RE RIGHT, and expect to answer for it.
